Repurposed Metals

After seeing similar garden art, I repurposed broken hand tools and metals in my garage and began building ‘tooly birds.’ A garden hoe and rake turned into a bird, a pitch form became a stork, a broken shovel became a goose. Gears and sprockets, drill bits, hinges and old tools came together to form various fowl. The parts are kept in their natural, aged form, with rust and honest weathering adding to the character of each piece.
